Stratis Tsirtsis is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hasso Plattner Institute, within the Technology & Regulation group led by Prof. Sandra Wachter. His research develops computational models and methods to understand and improve AI’s social impact. His work addresses topics such as the influence of AI on collective opinion through its integration into online platforms, the economics of AI-as-a-service, and AI-assisted decision-making. Stratis completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems and has also conducted research at Stanford University and Meta (FAIR).
