Moritz investigates algorithmic systems of Very Large Online Platforms as part of our enforcement activities related to the Digital Services Act. He analyses the systemic risks of algorithms with his data and machine learning skills and his research experience in social sciences.
Moritz completed his PhD in 2023 on the Political Economy of Media at the Sciences Po Department of Economics and the IT research unit at INA in Paris, during which he visited the Department of Government in Harvard. He holds two masters in Economics from the LSE and PSE as well as a Bachelor in International Relations from TU Dresden.
