FAccTRec at RecSys 2024

ECAT Researcher João Vinagre will deliver a keynote at the The 7th FAccTRec Workshop on Responsible Recommendation, part of the RecSys 2024 programme.   

The Workshop explores research and position papers about ethical, social, and legal issues brought by the development and the use of recommendations, enabling a discussion on providing and evaluating socially responsible recommendations.

João's keynote will provide a technical angle to the Digital Services Act and the AI Act, starting with the principles behind them, and focusing on their implications for the RecSys community, particularly from a research perspective.
