Cristian Consonni

Cristian Consonni obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Trento in 2019 with a thesis focused on knowledge extraction from links between Wikipedia articles. His research interests span the fields of computational social science, data mining, network science, graph algorithms, machine learning, and AI. Before joining ECAT, he worked at Eurecat - Centre Centre Tecnològic de Catalunya in Barcelona, where he led several EU-funded projects studying social networks, digital communities, and mobility. Cristian is a strong advocate for free software and open knowledge and has been a Wikipedia editor since 2007.
