Craig Haslop

Craig Haslop is Senior Lecturer in Media in the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Dr Haslop has published extensively about contemporary masculinities on social media and television. He is Principal Investigator for two funded research projects, which both explore issues relating to masculinities online and development of educational interventions to raise young men’s critical awareness of gender and sexual based violence. His recent research focuses on boys and young men’s relationships with manfluencers and the mainstreaming of misogynistic discourses from the manosphere. He is co-author of the recently launched #Men4Change toolkit - a workshop resource designed to be used by professionals to help raise young men's (aged 18-25) critical awareness of harmful gender norms online and offline.
